Supply Chain Diversification Acceleration
Several articles show major firms actively restructuring supply chains to cut geopolitical concentration risk. Piramal Pharma reduced its reliance on Chinese raw materials to under 10%, Key Tronic exited China manufacturing in favour of Mexico, and executives are hedging through nearshoring. None of the falsification criteria are met: no reports show firms deepening concentration or demand for diversification falling. Confidence is tempered for three reasons: the evidence points to geopolitics and tariffs rather than the currency volatility the thesis named, the articles fall after the roughly six-month window, and there is no direct data on growth in demand for consulting or AI risk-assessment services.
Major corporations maintain or deepen concentration in existing supply chain locations, currency volatility subsides without prompting sourcing changes, or demand for diversification/nearshoring services fails to increase.
